Encore Empire recording artist/producer Da Kidd Half collaborates with director Jay Miami to create the visual for his “No Sense” record.

The video is simple, but the added psychotropic editing elements and angles work to pair well with the lyrics and production of Da Kidd Half in the song.

“No Sense” is the East Atlanta rapper’s first release from his upcoming Ea$t Side Cool EP, which features collaborations with Willy Hendrix, Michael Aristotle, Keith, HQ Jonez and Farra Aki. The EP also features production from Da Kidd Half himself, HQ Jonez, EA and DamnCodyBeats.

[Video] Œ (feat. Jon Banks, LB Cyphers & A$e MCcain) – ‘Open Eyes’

Coming straight out of Decatur is an artist by the name of Jon Banks who is also known as “Juug the Juugman.” He has released an official video for his new song with his Œ crew LB Cyphers and A$e MCcain called “Ford,” which was produced by Illa Guapo. The music video was directed by Jon Banks himself while the video was shot by HD Genesis and his partner Will Macfly.

The title of the song “Ford” is a play on the southern slang way of saying “forward”. The message of the song is really about moving forward in life and overcoming the struggle.

The record comes from the crew’s latest project, Open Eyes, released last year.

The visuals in this video are very interesting and the shots are unforgettable, from the broken glass on the concrete to the archive footage of NBA great Michael Jordan making a shot.

A few years ago Jon Banks and Will Macfly created the organization named O.E. The duo decided to create this organization to, “promote the art of struggle musically.” Make sure you check out some of Jon’s other work including songs with the popular Atlanta native rapper, Gucci Mane.

[Project] Been Good Vol. 1: Wino Willy & CLASSIK Compilation

[Project] Been Good Vol. 1: Wino Willy & CLASSIK Compilation

Been Good Vol1 Front Cover-16

From the time the beat drops on the intro to the time it fades away on the last track, Been Good Vol. 1: Wino Willy & CLASSIK Compilation will grace your ears with true hip-hop sounds from emerging indie artists out of Atlanta. The compilation features new original music from artists such as Miles Stone, Zip K, subCONSCIOUS (sbCNCS), along with many others.

Been Good Vol. 1 serves as the inauguaral release of the music compilation series exclusively crafted by producers Wino Willy and Teimless Knight and distributed by Atlanta-based apparel company CLASSIK Founder and Creative Director George F. Baker III.

As we listen in on the tracks such as “Mistletoe Break” featuring Zip K, we find the artist laying down promising bars over a drum studded old school instrumental.

“Private Party”, with Blakplanet, Sha’lil, & Sharia Amour, is the perfect late night track to set the mood and get your mind right for a private party. The artists’ flows sync well as they spit tantalizing lyrics over a harmonious chorus that is laced over a soothing instrumental.

“Been Good Intro” featuring executive producer George F. Baker III. A sentence by itself. A movement by itself. A classic by itself. You know the intro is crazy when it is mentioned last, and is only an instrumental. However, it is more than an instrumental. The vibe of the instrumental begins the tape and carries on throughout the entire compilation–one that is sure to become a true classic.

Been Good Vol 1 embodies more than just music, the joint venture between Wino Willy, Teimless Knight, and CLASSIK helps usher in the label’s newest collection release of clothing titled “Connect.” The creative brand fosters this “music of the minds” collaboration to represent progress and unity within the creative community.

Executive producers include George F. Baker IIIWino WillyTeimless KnightShalom Little and Kaedus of Raven Corps.
